Provide opportunities for children to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities
Provide homework appropriate to the age and ability of the children
Provide an annual written report on children’s progress and achievements
Provide information about children’s work, behaviour and progress at other times, when necessary
Review the School’s Prospectus each year
Support and reinforce safety on the roads
Have procedures for complaints
Provide access to health professionals and support the work of the Local Health Authority in caring for the children’s health
Families will endeavour to:
Make sure that children come to school regularly and on time and collect them promptly after school, where necessary
Inform the school if children are unable to attend, and provide a note or telephone call explaining their absence
Note the information provided on the school website and in the school prospectus, especially the advice given about health and safety in school and about medicines
Be aware of health issues and help prevent health risks in school
Support the school’s Behaviour Policy including the measures the school takes to prevent bullying
Encourage children to keep the school rules
Provide children with named school uniform and P.E. kit and encourage them to be tidy and clean
Attend Parents’ Evenings to discuss children’s progress.
Support children with their homework and other opportunities for home learning
Make sure children know how to travel safely, especially to school
Park safely in appropriate places when coming to school
Follow the Parents Code of Conduct
Communicate to school any concerns that may affect children’s learning
