Welcome to Year 1

We are so excited to welcome the children into Year One. 

Meet the Staff:. Mrs Hollinshead is the class teacher and is supported by Mrs McLean. 

Key Information for Year One class:

PE lessons take place on a Wednesday and Friday.  Please remember that if your child has stud earrings in they must be taken out on these days.

Reading books are sent home every night. Please spend time with your child reading, questioning and talking about the pictures and record what they have read in their reading log. Please make sure that the books are returned every day so we can listen to children read in class. Thank you.
