Hippings Methodist Primary School

In addition to our Pupil Parliament,Year 5 are also part of the Rotary Club RotaKids programme. The children work to make a difference in the community by giving service and raising money for local charities.

Wacky Hair Day

On Friday 1st March we asked the whole school to change their hair styles for the day. As part of the RotaKids we decided to support the Northern Cleft Palate Foundation and asked for donations. Everyone made a fantastic effort and we saw some very creative designs! We raised £202 which will be sent to the Foundation. Thank you to all those who supported us.

Old Spectacle Appeal

We are also asking for donations of old spectacles with cases for Bangladesh. The spectacles will be given to those who have had cataract operations. We have a donation box situated in the entrance hall.
